24th December, 1972; 11 pm
It was the night before Christmas. A car was going through the woods fast. The driver was John, a man in his early twenties with his girlfriend Olivia. They were in the hangover of the Christmas party and were heavily drunk. Olivia said: "Hey John, you know... I think maybe we should do something tonight." John said: "What do you mean babe? ". She looked at him enticingly. John said: "Well, there aren't any motels ahead. I guess we shall do it in the car". He stopped driving. Olivia looked at him and said: "Not here, I heard there is a place nearby that has been abandoned for quite a long time. Let's go there!". John smiled and then kissed her. After passing the bridge, they drove away to the abandoned bungalow.
Olivia woke up the next morning and she was shocked to find herself on the roadside. There was no sign of John or his car. Suddenly a man who was passing by helped her and took her to the police. At the police station, the officers asked to describe the details of what had happened. But she was not able to recollect what happened the previous night. She was so scared and even had a high fever. She was immediately sent to give medical attention.
After two days, the police officers questioned her once again as her condition had improved. She said: "We decided to go to this place and check it out. It was too dark and we were drunk. We passed a bridge on the way. Then I fell asleep and the next day, I woke up on the roadside. I don't remember anything else." She cried and said: "It is all my fault. It was me who suggested that we should go to this place. And now, Oh my god! John is missing." The police officer said: "Ms. Olivia, May I ask you how did you know about this place? Who told you?". She doesn't remember that either. It was a huge shock for her. The police officers were not able to locate such a bungalow or the bridge in that area. The places that she mentioned never existed. The investigation continued for almost three years until John was finally presumed dead. Olivia was an orphan. Her life changed completely after that incident. She left the town and relocated to a bigger city. Eventually, she was able to start over. Later, she met a man and fell in love with him. She married him and thus became Mrs. Olivia Turner.
